I received BC short term rental registration for my client’s furnished house rental recently, as well as helping a couple of friends and neighbours in Esquimalt attain their registration number, allowing us to continue to rent our primary residences or our suites for 30 day minimum rentals, which complies with current Esquimalt bylaws.
Without that registration number we’d be removed from AirBnB and other platforms, so I’m happy to help host tenants as well as continue to be a cheerleader for my property management clients.
30 Day Furnished rentals are extremely necessary to both landlords and tenants. There has to be a middle furnished rental pool, not nightly short term rentals, not long term rentals.
