StackHaus Realty Workwear Auctions!

StackHaus Realty Workwear Auctions!

You heard me, Workwear Auctions! This is what happens when you’ve been an entrepreneur for over 20 years, your hobbies always turn into a business.

This week is a banner for StackHaus Realty, we are closing on over $3Million dollars in Real Estate sales (read that again) AND we have 3 furnished rentals that we are bringing to market! Navigating the municipal and provincial licensing is a real treat and Real Estate is my top priority so don’t expect an auction from me till November or so but be sure to follow me at StackHausRealty on WhatNot.com

Why get into auctions? Because I miss The Bay. Because I’m too busy to shop. Because I have two rooms in my home exploding with channel style jackets, leather purses, silk shirts, button ups and dresses. Because most of the Canadian sellers on Whatnot are selling at-home pj or athleisure. Because when you’re brokering millions of dollars in Real Estate you should NOT be wearing sweats or leggings, Lulu or Alo. NOPE. You should look like a million bucks, and I’m here for it.

I stumbled across whatnot because I wanted a luxury handbag for myself (Burberry fan here aren’t I?) so I downloaded Whatnot and scored myself an amazing deal, and saw a serious hole in the market for middle market women’s designer clothing.

Do I support local retail? Sure I do, but I also love to thrift and I KNOW A DEAL, so here we go! The other thing about being a Boss Lady is that I don’t have time to go shopping. I just don’t. I work 60hrs a week at least so Whatnot was the perfect answer to being able to shop while I was at home, bored on the treadmill, while I clean ANYTHING or filling out FORMS. We Realtors are constantly working and having an auction on in the background is a fun passive way for me to get great finds I would never have found in retail.

I also love the live auction format because I’ve scored SO many great deals on pallets, resale thrift and returns. I also like how the item can be seen from many different points of view and the ability to ask the seller questions about the product in real time, like inseam, pit to pit measurement, fabric content, things like that.

I’m excited to bring middle market designers to whatnot in Canada, Tory Burch, Ralph Lauren, J Crew, Madewell, Dooney Bourke, Sam Edelman. Affordable resale. Now let’s get back to work.
